The right side of the slide is marked with the model “P230”, the full serial number and Swiss Police logo that was reported as Zug but cannot independently confirm. Molded checkered grips. Complete with two original unmarked matte finished SIG magazines. Sold in a red SIG P230 box with no end label that still retains the grey foam liner. No instruction booklet or test target.
Condition: Approximately 99% bright original finish with only minor sharp edge wear suggesting limited field use. Mirror bright bore and perfect manual mechanics. A very scarce police marked P230 seldom encountered outside Switzerland in the 9mm Police caliber. A HISTORIC INVESTMENT!

The right side of the slide is marked “SIGARMS INC. / Tysons Corner-VA', '9mm kurz”, 'JG' date code, an Eagle over “N” ‘nitro’ proof mark, a Kiel proof mark, and with the serial number. The frontstrap is marked with the serial number. The left of the frame is marked with eagle over 'N' behind the takedown lever.
The left of the barrel behind the frame mount is also marked with an eagle over 'N' (concealed with the slide installed). Barrel Length: 3 1/2” Sights / Optics: The front sight is a stainless steel blade with a red dot integral to the slide. The rear sight is a stainless steel square notch with vertical red aiming reference under the slot dovetailed to the rear of the slide.
The slide has a serrated rib on top to reduce glare. Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black plastic panels. The grips show only a few scattered light marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Fine-plus condition. Type of Finish: Stainless Steel Finish Originality: Original Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp.
There is no erosion in the bore. Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The balance is in scattered light scuffs, scratches and handling marks with light operational wear on the frame from the decocker lever. The screw heads are sharp.
The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Fine condition. Mechanics: The action functions correctly.
The double action trigger is smooth, the single action trigger has a smooth takeup followed by a crisp break. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a two-piece red cardboard Sig Sauer P230 box which is not marked with a serial number. The box has a foam interior cut for the gun and an assortment of factory paperwork including manual and test-target. A total of three 7-round magazines are included with pinky-finger floorplates. The box has scattered light wear with some tape damage on the lid, in about Very Good condition. The magazines show operational wear and spots of light discoloration with intact feed lips and strong springs, in about Very Good condition.
